Type section (subsurface): depth-interval 2,930 to 3,305 ft, Palm Beach Co. System 3 No. 1 well, [in sec. 10, T. 46 S., R. 42 E.], Palm Beach Co., southeastern FL. Named from village of Delray Gardens, 1 mi northeast of type well (Winston, 1994).
