W., Garden Spring Canyon 7.5-min quadrangle], Socorro Co., central NM. Named from Del Cuerto Spring on east slope of Oscura Mountains, about 3 mi east of Oscura Peak, [in SE/4 sec. 9, T. 8 S., R. 6 E., Oscura Peak 7.5-min quadrangle, Lincoln Co., central NM] (Thompson, 1942).
