Type section: spillway cut at the Laurel River Dam, near Dave Branch, Sawyer quadrangle, Whitley Co., KY. Carter coordinate location is 12-F-63, 3,300 [ft] from south line and 400 [ft] from east line (Chesnut, 1991).

Appalachian basin
