Type section: northeast side of White House Canyon across U.S. Highway 60 from the Datil Well Campground, 1.2 mi northwest of the junction of U.S. Highways 60 and 12 in the town of Datil, in NW/4 SW/4 sec. 2, T. 2 S., R. 10 W., Datil 7.5-min quadrangle, Catron Co., NM (Osburn and Chapin, 1983).
