Type area: centered on town of Daguao, Municipio de Naguabo, Naguabo quadrangle, east-central Puerto Rico; notable exposures in housing excavations just north of town of Daguao (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 231,500 E.; 46,000 N.) and along coast starting at 229,200 E.; 39,300 N. (M'Gonigle, 1977).
