Cliff exposures at a bend in Crowders Creek, 180 m north of its junction with Squirrel Branch, midway between Crowders Mountain and the town of Kings Mountain, Lat. 35 deg. 13 min. 58 sec. N., Long 81 deg. 18 min. 25 sec. W., Gaston Co., south-central NC (Horton, 1984).
