Type section: continuous outcrops along an unnamed creek that flows east from unnamed lake, about 4 km south of U.S. Interstate Highway I-20 past abandoned Villa Rica Waterworks, Villa Rica 7.5-min quadrangle, northwestern GA (Crawford and others, 1999).
