Early Pennsylvanian (Bashkirian; Westphalian; Morrowan)*


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type section (composite): along U.S. Highway 70N and the railroad tracks of the Tennessee Central Railway Company where they cut across the Crab Orchard Mountains, Cumberland Co., eastern TN (Wilson and others, 1956).

Appalachian basin*
