Type locality not designated. Present in subsurface. Origin of name not stated by author, but probably named from Ohio Oil Company, Converse Sheep No. 5 well, in SE/4 SW/4 sec. 32, T. 36 N., R. 65 W., Niobrara Co., WY (Hunt, 1938).
