Type section: in bluff north of road to Grasshopper beginning in Cibecue quadrangle, about 1 mi southwest of town of Cibecue, then offset about 0.5 mi northwestward to point south of hill 5490, Chediski Peak quadrangle, Navajo Co., AZ (Finnell, 1966).
