"Campus Andesite" is largest of several intrusive bodies of igneous rock that occur in Rio Grande Valley southwest of Franklin Mountains in El Paso, TX. "Campus Andesite" occupies an area of about 1 sq mi on and near campus of the University of Texas at El Paso (Hoffer, 1967).
