Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous (Tithonian to Aptian)*
Type locality: exposures in Quebrada Cajul (Puerto Rico Meter Grid System 77,890 E.; 16,680 N.), about 150 m south of highway bridge, Sierra Bermeja, [Parguera quadrangle], southwestern Puerto Rico (Mattson, 1973).
