Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Occurs south of Killingworth dome in Clinton quadrangle, eastern CT. Fresh exposures between U.S. Interstate Highway I-95 and Nod Road, just east of Exit 62 (Lundgren and Thurrel, 1973).
