Type section: in sec. 35, T. 29 S., R. 15 W., Lat. 38 deg. 15 min. N., Long. 113 deg. 30 min. W., at intersecting corners of Lamerdorf Peak, Frisco, The Tetons, and Blue Mountain quadrangles. Named from Blawn Wash, southern Wah Wah Mountains, Beaver Co., UT (Best and others, 1987).
