Named from Berry, [east side of Highway 29, bdry. btw. secs. 30 and 31, T. 15 N., R. 3 W., Edinburg 7.5-min quadrangle, Sangamon Co., central IL] (Willman and Frye, 1970, p. 188, table 6).
