Notable exposures near village of Atarque, Valencia Co., northwestern NM, and also in Zuni Indian Reservation, McKinley Co., northwestern NM (Pike, 1947).
Principal reference section: in NW/4 NE/4 sec. 5, T. 10 N., R. 17 W., McKinley Co., NM (Hook and others, 1983).
Reference section: on southwest side of Santa Rita Mesa, in SW/4 sec. 7, T. 4 N., R. 18 W, [Cibola Co., NM] (McLellan and others, 1983).
