Named from Ashnola River in Okanogan Co., [Pasayten Wilderness Area], northernwestern WA. Is an intrusive body approx. 5 mi long and 0.5 mi wide just east of Beaver Creek, Okanogan Co., northernwestern WA; is nearly bisected by International Boundary at approx. Long. 120 deg. 15 min. W. (Staatz and others, 1971).
