[Type area:] at Ashley Hill, in northeastern corner of Chatham Twp., Columbia Co., about 1 mi north of Bayville or Rider's Mills Station on Lebanon Springs RR, and 2 mi south of Brainard, in Nassau, eastern NY (Dale, 1893).
