Pg. 251, 339. Yampai sandstones is proposed for the red friable sandstone particularly distinguishing the middle section of Supaian series and outcropping in Yampai Cliffs, or southern extension of Grand Wash Cliffs, in northwestern Arizona. Thickness 300 feet. Age is Permian.
