Summary:

[Probably named for Wikieup, AZ] Named used to distinguish rock unit in trace element study. Name as used herein "has no claim to priority". Comprises most of Hualpai Range [now Hualapai Mountains] west of Wikieup and slightly north and southward to point about a mi past Groom Peak. Is part of Cerbat complex. Texturally and modally Wikieup granodiorite is more variable than Boriana granodiorite or Hualpai granite (both new and of Cerbat complex). Predominant facies is very coarse-grained, sub-porphyritic, mafic biotite-hornblende granodiorite. Entire Hualpai Range has been mapped by Schrader (1909) as Precambrian complex.
