Summary:

Named as one of six formations of the Pogonip group for the Wah Wah Valley, Millard Co., UT in the Great Basin province. Type section is the Ibex H section in secs 5 and 6, T23S, R14W. Is a ledge-forming, silty, medium-gray, silty to shaly, ledgy calcisiltite. Is 227 ft thick at the type where it overlies Fillmore limestone (new) of Pogonip group and underlies Juab limestone (new) of Pogonip group. Is very fossiliferous (brachiopods, gastropods); assigned to the Ordovician.
