Unit is named the Wadsworth Bed of the Eetza Formation in the area between Wadsworth and Nixon, Lake Lahontan area, NV. Is a 1-cm-thick layer of tephra of intermediate chemical composition. Age is Pleistocene, 75 to 35 ka.
