Summary:

Unit is named the Wabash Detroit Formation. Consists of dolomite with subordinate argillite, quartzite, and carbonate-bearing quartzite and siltite; may also contain greenstone in upper part of formation. Thickness is about 240 m. Overlies the Chamokane Creek Formation (new); underlies the McHale Slate. Age is Middle Proterozoic.
