Topeka limestone member of Shawnee formation. Present in eastern Kansas, northwestern Missouri, southeastern Nebraska, and southwestern Iowa. Includes (ascending) Curzen [Curzon] limestone, Turner Creek shale, Du Bois limestone, and Holt shale beds. Thickness 18 to 19 feet. Overlies Calhoun shale member and underlies Severy shale member, all included in Shawnee formation. Age is Pennsylvanian (Missouri age).
