Summary:

Tecumseh shale member of Shawnee group. Includes the following beds (descending): Rakes Creek shale, 20+/- feet; Ost limestone, 1.5 feet; and Kenosha shale, 6+/- feet. Overlies Lecompton limestone member and underlies Deer Creek limestone member. Age is Pennsylvanian.
