Named as a member of State Bridge Formation for exposures capping Sloane Peak, Woody Creek quad, in Eagle basin. Type section designated at SE1/4 SW1/4 sec 15, T8S, R86W where it is a 150 ft orange-pink, very fine-grained, very well sorted, tightly compacted with calcite cement sandstone in beds 2 in to 4 ft thick. Beds parallel to base are thin; cross-laminated beds are thicker. Underlies unnamed siltstone unit of State Bridge; base not exposed at type. Is 250 ft thick in northeast part of quad. Is 2,100 ft above base of State Bridge northeast part of quad. Thought to be offshore bar deposit; may be most widespread member. Assigned an Early Triassic age.
