Summary:

Designated a formal middle? member of the Roosevelt Gabbros (new) of Raggedy Mountain Gabbro Group. Mapped (geologic map) with other members of the Roosevelt along Glen Creek in Glen Mountains and on east side of Wichita Mountains, Kiowa and Comanche Cos, OK in South Oklahoma folded belt province. Recognized in text as present in secs 3, 4, and 9, T3N, R15W in Wichita Mountains. [Presence elsewhere not stated.] Is an irregular intrusion of biotite-amphibole two-pyroxene gabbro. Exhibits internal differentiation. Varies from olivine-rich gabbro locally displaying plagioclase lamination to massive quartz gabbro. Accessory phases include magnetite, ilmenite, apatite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, and in some samples alkali feldspar. Is overlain by Mount Scott Granite of Wichita Granite Group. [Relationship to other members of Roosevelt not clearly stated.] Shown on stratigraphic table as younger than Mount Sheridan Gabbro Member and as older than Glen Creek Gabbro Member. Of Cambrian age.
