Modes plot close to boundary between granodiorite and granite fields on Q-A-P diagram. Gillespie (1979) reported U-Pb age on zircon of 144 Ma and Crowder and others (1973) reported K-Ar age of 133 Ma on biotite and 141 Ma on hornblende. Assigned Late Jurassic age on map.
