Summary:

Named presumably for Rincon Mountains [Pima Co., AZ]. Type locality in Rincon Mountains. A pink, mostly crystalline li in places is oolitic and often contains glauconite or epidote. Rests on Abrigo formation in Whetstone Mountains, Rincon Mountains, and in the Picacho de Calera Hills, in the Pedregosa basin and Basin-and-Range province. Is 42 ft thick in Whetstone Mountains. Is of Late Cambrian age.
