Summary:

Term Red Bluff granite proposed for the pre-Cambrian of the Franklin Mountains, El Paso Co, in Southwestern Basin-and-Range province. Occurs at Red Bluff Park [for which probably named] in McKelligon Canyon. No type locality designated. Lanoria quartzite present on east side of range, and a rhyolite porphyry on west slope. No thickness or description of Red Bluff granite given. Is of pre-Cambrian age.
