Summary:

Named for Pyramid Rock, hill on Mokapu Peninsula, [Mokapu 7.5' quad] Island of Oahu. Formerly included in Hawaiiloa volcanics (Stearns, IN Stearns and Vaksvik, 1935). Included in lower part of Honolulu volcanic series. Composed of nepheline basalt with olivine. May have erupted simultaneously with Pali Kilo Lava.
