Summary:

Named Puerto Ferro limestone for Miocene deposits at Vieques, PR. Unit makes up a low mesa-like prominence on south-central coast. It unconformably overlies Cretaceous rocks. It is well stratified and contains foraminifers, mollusks, and corals. The Puerto Ferro limestone is 200 feet thick.
