Summary:

In Benson area, Pinehurst Formation is subdivided into two new informally named members--Piney Grove and Plain View. Name Piney Grove is applied to sediments between altitudes of 350 and 325 ft. Overlies Macks Formation (new). Age is Pliocene(?).
