Summary:

Phipps Pass granodiorite is shown on map of Fallen Leaf Lake 15' quad, El Dorado Co, CA. Is exposed over 6 sq mi in north-central part of quad. Consists of medium-grained to coarse-grained, equigranular hornblende-biotite granodiorite. Intruded by alaskite at Rubicon Point. Age given as Cretaceous.
