Pg. 19. Person Formation of Edwards Group. Chiefly micrite and biomicrite limestone. Color is grayish-brown. Thickness 69 m at type section. Includes five informal members. Overlies Kainer Formation of Edwards Group; underlies Georgetown Formation. Age is Early Cretaceous (Comanchean).
Type section (subsurface): depth-interval 3,281 to 3,350 m, Standard of Texas No. 1 Wiatrek well, index no. 10, Person Field, Karnes Co., southeastern TX.
