Pg. 9. Palmyra limestone member of Friedrich shale formation. Defined as middle member of formation. Underlies Otoe shale member (new); overlies Minersville shale member (new). Age is Late Pennsylvanian (Virgilian).
Type locality: in cutbank of Little Nemaha River, southeast of RR station at Palmyra, Otoe Co., southeastern NE.
