Summary:

Pg. 12, 14-15, 36 (table 6), pl. 27. Pacheta member of Lowell formation of Bisbee group. Consists of following divisions (ascending): (9g) Lancha limestone (new), 11 feet; (9f) yellow dolomite, 2 feet; (9e) streaked and cross-bedded sandstone with fragments of silicified trees, 2 feet; (9d) Tusonimo limestone (new), 8 feet; (9c) Cienda limestone (new), 4 feet; (9b) Black Knob dolomite (new), 30 feet; and (9a) Black Knob quartzite (new), 40 feet. Total thickness 97 feet. Is basal member of Lowell formation, underlies Joserita member (new). Overlies Morita formation. Fossils. Age is Early Cretaceous (Aptian); PARAHOPLITES MELCHIORIS standard ammonite zone.
[Occurs in the Ninety One Hills area, local name for hills in secs. 14 and 23, T. 24 S., R. 24 E., immediately north of International border in vicinity of International Monument No. 91, southeast of Bisbee Junction on Southern Pacific RR, Bisbee 15-min quadrangle, Cochise Co., southeastern AZ. Area includes type locality and standard section of Lowell Formation.]
