Summary:

Unit is named the Owl Conglomerate Member of the Barstow Formation. Consists of gray cobble and boulder conglomerate in arkosic sandstone matrix. Thickness is 75 m at type; ranges from 58 to 300 m. Unconformably overlies the Pickhandle Formation; conformably underlies unnamed shale and fanglomerate of the Barstow. (B1520)
