Summary:

Unit is named the Osgood Bed. Occurs at Osgood Swamp, CA. Overlies the Tsoyawata Bed (new) of the Mazama Member (new) of the Mount Mazama Formation. Age is Holocene, 6 to 2 ka, based on the age of peat underlying the tephra. (B1565)
