Nipsachuck Gneiss is here assigned to the Harmony Complex until its age and contact relations with adjacent units are clear. Authors tentatively interpret the Nipsachuck as a highly deformed granitic pluton that intrudes the overlying Absalona and Woonasquatucket Formations (also assigned to the Harmony). Described as gray to tan, pink- to red-weathering, foliated to mylonitized gneiss. Contains strongly lineated biotite.
