Summary:

Named as the upper member (of 3) of Flagstaff Limestone for Musinia Peak in sec 28, T20S, R3E in Sanpete Co., UT on the Wasatch uplift, which is designated the type locality. Is characterized by blue to blue-gray biomicrite and micrite interbedded with yellowish-brown to gray mudstone. Contains abundant chert. Thickness not given. About 40 m is exposed on Musinia Peak where it overlies Cove Mountain Member (new) of Flagstaff Limestone. Thought to be of early Eocene age. Is part of a lacustrine-alluvial complex.
