Summary:
Rocks of the Miller Creek complex of McConnell (1988) were included by Espenshade and others (1975) in the Cranberry Gneiss. Rock types include a magnetite-quartz-feldspar granofels, calc-silicate rock, epidosite, amphibolite, pyroxene-bearing granitic gneiss, biotite augen gneiss, and metadiorite. Complex has not been isotopically dated, but basement assignment is based on lithologic similarities to other basement units.
