K-Ar determinations on biotite from McAfee Creek pluton yielded 85.3 +/-3 and 83.3 +/-3 Ma. Geologic sketch map shows "quartz monzonite of McAfee Creek" to be Cretaceous age.

[Authors use name McAfee Creek Granite evidently referring to "quartz monzonite of McAfee Creek" of Krauskopf (1971) cited on their geologic sketch map.] Also referred to as McAfee Granite. Pb-U determinations on zircon from unit gave concordant age of 100 +/-1 Ma. This is interpreted as "the igneous age of the McAfee Creek Granite".
