Name Maumee River Member of Tymochtee Formation applied to 20 m of gray to brown shaly dolomite in Waterville quarry, Wood Co., northwestern OH. Strata are cross-bedded with sedimentary structures including shrinkage cracks, flute casts, and stylolites. Overlies Ovitt Road Member (new) and underlies Roche de Boeuf Member (new), both of Tymochtee Formation. Age is Late Silurian.
