Summary:

[Probably named for Leidy Creek, Mt. Barcroft 15' quad, CA] Underlies approximately 3 sq mi of quad in Inyo batholith. Is fine-grained rock which is most leucocratic pluton of Mt. Barcroft quad. Surrounded by older rocks: on south by Cabin Granodiorite (new), on east and west by sedimentary rocks, and to north by a complex of granitic rocks, contaminated by numerous inclusions. The four adamellites --Leidy, Sage Hen, Cottonwood, and McAfee (all new) --in area correspond to Boundary Peak Granite (Anderson, 1937).
