Summary:

The Las Palmas Hornblende Schist and Amphibolite of the Bermeja Complex, here named, consists of foliated and unfoliated hornblende-plagioclase rocks that occur as tectonic blocks in sheared serpentinite, and as pebbles in conglomerates near the base of the Mayaguez Group. Age is Early Cretaceous(?).
