Summary:

Four rock types were distinguished by Mattson (1960, 1964) within the Bermeja Complex. The spilite is here named Las Mesas Greenstone. Age of greenstone shown in fig. 9 as Early Cretaceous. [Unit is not discussed in detail. Though intent to name is stated, this report is considered a first use rather than a naming paper.]
