Summary:

Pg. 84, 85, 285, 286. Jayville granite of Diana syenite complex. Thought to be facies of Diana complex. Contains band of amphibolite and local masses of skarn thought to represent metamorphosed Grenville calcareous beds. Age is Precambrian.
Type locality not stated. Present in Oswegatchie quadrangle. Jayville is in St. Lawrence Co., northeastern NY.
