Summary:

Named as an informal unit in Torrey Member of Moenkopi Formation for development in White Canyon near mouth of Hideout Canyon, San Juan Co, UT in Paradox basin. No type locality designated. Known in White Canyon and Elk Ridge. Consists of thin, even-bedded intercalated siltstone, mudstone, and fine-grained sandstone. Has abundant intraformational conglomerate of dolomitic and argillaceous pebbles and a structureless, knobbly weathering mudstone or sandy siltstone. Believed to have been deposited on a flood plain in Early Triassic time.
