Summary:

Name Harbison introduced for medium-gray metagranodiorite characterized by small phenocrysts of feldspar embedded in fine-grained ground mass. Surrounding rocks are felsic varieties of Carolina slate. Occurs as small pluton, mostly in Irmo quad. Age not stated.
